#Niiboy Rohan shares with us his latest project “Finding Soul” which he is co-curating with friends Yewande Yoyo Odunubi and Tayo Rapoport.
The three artists are part of the multi-vibrational movement of soul-vibe-bringers, Touching Bass. Through photography, poetry, film and set design, the three of them aim to offer a unique experience in exploration and appreciation for the energy or “soul” of the friends that make up their community.
Rohan explains: "It is fundamental to explore and think about the importance of being part of grassroots communities that provide support, stimulation and purpose in a moment of increasing social fracturing and individualism.”
The trio is currently raising funds with a target of £,8000 to complete the project. Any support given whether it’s financial or just spreading the word, is a massive help. Finding Soul is being exhibited from the 14th to the 16th of July at Blank100, 100 De Beauvoir Road, Unit 5, London, N1 4EN.
